Great Britain Hockey Limited (GBHL) is looking to appoint a President to represent GB Hockey internationally and chair the GBHL Board meetings. This is a voluntary role (inc. expenses) with a hybrid work arrangement, requiring some travel to Bisham Abbey National Sport Centre.

GBHL is a membership organisation comprising England, Scotland and Wales and is responsible for delivering Great Britain's success at the Olympic Games and other international events where the teams compete as GB.

The Board operates under the Great Britain Framework Agreement signed in 2006 and recently reviewed. The Framework's main function is to provide GB Primacy that puts the athlete at its heart to ensure administrators and coaches provide every GB athlete with the best chance of success at the highest level - the Olympic stage.

In order to fulfil its responsibilities, GB Hockey appoints a "Nominated Country" (NC) from the three home nations every four years. The Board delegates to the NC full responsibility to lead both business and performance activities of GB Hockey and ensure GB Primacy. Non Nominated Countries (NNCs) assist the NC, while GB Hockey maintains oversight.

The President will chair the GBHL board meetings (three per year), work closely with the Great Britain Chief Operating Officer, liaise with the three home country associations and the British Olympic Association, and represent GB hockey at other meetings and events.
