ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a dynamic, fast-learning, structured and eager Pre-Sales Consultant EMEA who will support the Sales team throughout the entire lifecycle and have an impact on the acquisition, engagement and retention of new and existing customers.
Candidates should have experience within the financial services and possess comprehensive understanding of technical aspects and can defend them.
This position has a preferred location in Barcelona, Spain.
Your mission
The Pre-Sales Consultant will support the Sales team in acquiring new customers and up-selling at existing customers by acting as Subject Matter Expert during the entire sales cycle.
He/She will also provide comprehensive leadership and competitive solutions to the customers or prospects, based on the Strands value proposition, software products portfolio and technical platform, having a comprehensive knowledge of the competitive landscape.
You will conduct day to day basis activities in a dynamic environment and in fast growing business where the collaboration proposals are going to be defended from the technical and business point of view.
It is also expected that the Pre-Sales Consultant acts as an advisory leader and strategic consultant for the client, not only on the initial steps of the sales processes but also during the handover to the delivery teams, acting also as the trusted advisor for the client during the contract and taking ownership for the upcoming client challenges related to the Strands digital financial management platform.
You will be doing things like
- Advise financial institutions on how Strands solutions bring them added-value within the fintech context.
- Helping to generate thought leadership and white papers content for inbound marketing activities.
- Support the entire sales process from project qualification, to RFI/RFP and solution design workshops.
- Collect, document and prioritize functional and non-functional requirements, technical constraints and workarounds.
- Be responsible and accountable to translate customer business requirements into a solution definition together with the required documents that will be applied for delivering transformative projects to Strands customers.
- Contribute to the development and update of the sales deck (incl. offering), demo resources and materials useful to position our solution in cooperation with marketing.
- Collaborate with the Sales team in order to train and update them on our solutions and drive the progress of new opportunities from the business perspective. Thanks to this pivotal role you will have the opportunity to play as a facilitator towards internal functions such as the product team, delivery among others.
- Collaborate with Product Team and internal teams to provide systematically customer's feedback and market insights useful for product roadmap or solution implementation
- Participate in round tables, webinars and events providing insight, vision and the Strands products and value proposition leadership.
You will be using your
- A Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or any other relevant STEM field will be valued.
- Relevant working experience in consulting and/or selling and implementing digital transformation projects and/or digital banking solutions within the financial industry.
- Relevant experience in providing high value consultation to banks, understanding their problems and challenges and guiding them through the selling process.
- Technical affinity and comprehensive understanding of any technical concepts that may apply to digital financial solutions.
- Experience/working knowledge in artificial intelligence, conceptualization, advanced analytics or machine learning and big data is highly appreciated.
- Excellent presentation and demoing skills.
- Strong communication skills in English.
