Salary and Hours

Salary: £34,452 - £40,501 (pro rata for part time)

Hours: 33 per week, Monday Friday

Responsibilities

Full range of duties working with children who need protection, are looked after or are children in need, together with their families and carers. Adopt a strengths based and restorative approach to build positive relationships, identify outcomes needed to keep children safe and implement plans that improve wellbeing for children and their families and carers. Provide services city wide and travel as required. Work within the PrePare Team, a multi disciplinary partnership with NHS Lothian, Health and Social Care, and Communities and Families.

Qualifications and Checks

• Regulated work with children; must be registered under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
• Candidate must join the PVG scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check.
• Must provide an overseas criminal record check if spent 3 months or more abroad in the last 5 years.
