Job Description

NB: This is a London based role - the successful candidate should be based in or around London, and be happy to work from our Old Street office 3 days per week.

Blink has been at the forefront of two significant workplace evolutions - the transformation of the intranet from a static document repository to a dynamic digital workplace; and the recognition of how important it is to include the entire workforce when prioritising the employee connected experience.

As an innovator in this space, Blink provides a personalised and intuitive user interface, social and collaboration capabilities, and integration with other workplace tools and systems to drive a simple, holistic user experience aligned to an employee's role, location, language, tenure, etc. And, because we capture deep user interaction data across all areas of the platform, Blink is able to provide unprecedented insights into employee sentiment and behaviour that allow organisations to be proactive in managing attrition, driving best practices, and have a better understanding of how/when/where communications and engagement are having an impact.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Recommend solutions that drive value for our customers and Blink.
  • Proactively scope technical solutions to address customer requirements.
  • Lead and execute on specific solution plays such as Strategy Workshops and Conference Room Pilots.
  • Developing subject matter expertise around specific areas of influence such as communications, retention, union complexities, and frontline operational management.
  • Deliver product demonstrations to potential customer personas, including CEO, CIO/CTO, CHRO, and CFO.
  • In partnership with the Sales team, configure and customise product demonstrations to have the highest possible chance of conversion from prospect to customer.
  • Engage and respond to IT/Tech resources regarding more complex aspects of the solution like authentication, single sign on, and integration solutions.
  • Actively explain and evangelise the Blink product, including technical integrations and best practices.
  • As required, provide input and response RFI/RFP processes.
  • Understand the product roadmap with key dates to ensure accurate communication to both the prospects and account executive team.
  • Anticipate risks and barriers to pre- and post-launch customer engagement.
  • Liaise with Product Managers to provide feedback from customers about product requirements and ideas, to help them innovate and stay ahead of where the market is going.

We're looking for someone who is curious, ambitious and wants to develop in a fast-growing company. The successful candidate will be resourceful, inquisitive, and a fast learner, with an ability to easily connect with a customer. You'll be able to pick up new concepts quickly and empathize with customer pain points. We're also looking for:

  • At least 6+ years experience working in a technical Pre-Sales role within a B2B SaaS organization working with customers of all sizes (e.g SMB - Enterprise).
  • Experience selling HR solutions, communication/collaboration solutions, and/or mobile solutions is a plus.
  • Comfort level with both business consulting and technical consulting concepts.
  • Experience working and communicating with senior stakeholders.
  • Outstanding presentation skills to both technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos.
  • Experience building and delivering Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs independently and effectively.
  • Solution-focused - looking to help people and customers in finding solutions to their problems and be prescriptive in describing recommended approaches.
  • You will have a strong ability to define and present proposed solution architectures, breaking down complex concepts in an easy way to understand.
  • Experience evaluating trade-offs in delivering solutions between user experience, time, and complexity.
  • Willing and able to travel to meet sales/customer requirements. Expected travel 25-30%.
  • French-speaking a plus.

You'll have the opportunity to be part of something impactful, large-scale, and meaningful. Most importantly, you'll be working in a company with a strong mission and with a team that is ambitious and embarking on a journey that many start-ups can only dream of!

Other benefits include:

  • Competitive salary and generous equity allocations with significant upside potential.
  • 25 days annual leave per year, not including public holidays.
  • The equipment needed to do a great job.
  • Private healthcare.
  • Cycle to Work scheme.
  • Social events (company getaways, lunches, breakfasts, nights out).
  • Convenient central London location.
