Overview

My client is a leading UK building services contractor delivering large-scale mechanical and electrical design, installation, and commissioning projects across commercial, residential, healthcare, education, and data centre sectors.

They are seeking an experienced Pre-Construction Manager to lead early-stage project development, tendering, and technical pre-construction planning across multiple high-value MEP projects.

You will manage the full pre-construction lifecycle from enquiry through to contract award, ensuring technical, commercial, and delivery solutions are developed and aligned with client expectations.

This includes coordinating design input, cost planning, programme development, risk analysis, and bid submissions.

• Strong background in MEP / building services or construction pre-construction
• Experience managing tenders, bids, and early-stage project delivery
• Good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems design and installation
• Strong commercial awareness and cost planning abilityAbility to coordinate multidisciplinary teams (design, estimating, delivery)
• Strong communication and client-facing skills

• £60,000 - £80,000
