Practice Nurse - Locum Opportunity

Location: Ellesmere Port

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: 6 Weeks initially, with ongoing locum opportunities

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm (Part-time applicants also considered)

Rate: From £32 per hour

Payment: Via Umbrella, deemed payment, or PAYE only

We are recruiting an experienced Practice Nurse to join a GP Surgery in Ellesmere Port on a locum basis.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver routine general practice nursing care to patients attending the surgery.
Manage chronic disease clinics.
Provide contraception and sexual health advice.
Carry out cervical screening (smears).
Assess and treat minor illness and minor injuries.
Deliver travel health advice and vaccinations.
Administer childhood immunisations.
Promote health and wellbeing through patient education.
Undertake routine treatment room duties.

Requirements

Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
Previous experience working within a GP Practice.
Competent in chronic disease management, cervical cytology, immunisations, and treatment room duties.
Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Available to start ASAP.
