PPT Drivers

We have an exciting opportunity to work for a nationally recognised fresh produce business, considered to be the leader in its field. Pay rates from up to £13.21 per hour depending on shifts. The role of PPT Driver is based in Linton near Maidstone.

Shifts for PPT Drivers are 4 on 4 off:

• Day shift 06:00 - 16:00
• Night shift 18:00 - 08:00

Pay:

• Days £12.71 per hour
• Nights £13.21 per hour

Typical responsibilities include:

• Operating a Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) safely.
• Loading and unloading lorries.
• Moving stock between goods-in, storage, production, and dispatch areas.
• Picking orders using handheld scanners or pick sheets.
• Checking goods for damage and reporting shortages.
• Keeping the warehouse clean and following health and safety procedures.
• Completing basic warehouse tasks when required.

Common requirements:

• Previous warehouse experience.
• PPT licence or relevant training (some employers provide in-house training).
• Ability to lift and move goods safely.
• Good attention to detail and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including mornings, afternoons, nights, or 4-on/4-off patterns
