About the Job
We are seeking an experienced Fabric and PowerBI Support Specialist/Developer to triage issues and support our data BI platform. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and capable of working independently
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support our data reporting platform and troubleshoot issues.
- Diagnose and resolve application issues.
- Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and documentation of any changes
- Collaborate with development teams to escalate and prioritize critical issues.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of application updates.
- Provide technical support and training to other team members when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.

Technical:
- Requirement analysis and be a part of design discussions to derive optimal design for data warehouse.
- Create / review mapping documents to ensure it is accurate and in line with design structure and decisions and meeting business requirements.
- Produce / develop codebase using python and spark or other recommended ETL / Bigdata tool such as; ADF, Databricks, Synapse etc. to meet the design and business requirements and deliver the software for data warehouse.
- Producing complex SQL queries in order to debug / troubleshoot / use in coding where applicable to analyze / process data.
- Develop unit / integration tests to protect the code base from any unwanted bug and provide maximum code coverage (90% at least) of the code.
- Develop lint tests to ensure coding meets the development standards.
- Create visualizations using Power BI, OBIEEE where necessary to hep stakeholders analyze the business progress.
- Develop utilities using powershell where required to do automation in Microsoft Azure and other azure automation
- Develop devops pipeline with Azure Yaml, Jenkins to have CICD implemented and ensure basic code coverage and tests are performed each time there is a code change or release crated.
- Act as a data architect to provide solution for complex data problems.
- Design and planning the optimal way of implementing modern data platform.
- Prepare the blueprint of data architecture.
- Support QA and e2e testing to fix any bugs and ensure minimal bugs with the code being released to higher tiers
- Be a part of daily scrum to provide status update and report any impediments.
- Plan and execute the releases through octopus deployment.
- Support the deployment and releases on UAT and prod to resolve any technical issues / difficulties during deployment.
- Be a part of scrum to provide daily status update.
- Be a part of backlog grooming, sprint planning, release planning and retrospectives to discuss and gather requirements, feedback respectively for further development work and agile process.
