On Behalf of Arup, we are looking for a Power BI Specialist (PowerQuery - PPM) for an 8 Months contract based in London (Hybrid).

Purpose of the role:
As Power BI Specialist (PowerQuery - PPM) you will support the portfolio reporting and providing actionable insights through advanced data visualisation. You will support leadership decision-making and driving efficiencies through automation and digitalisation of reporting processes.

What you'll do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support portfolio, programme, and project reporting.
  • Manage and optimise portfolio data models, ensuring data integrity and timeliness.
  • Analyse large, complex datasets and synthesise them into actionable insights for leadership.
  • Drive innovation in reporting processes through automation, workflows, and digital tools.
  • Collaborate with the Power Platform team to ensure alignment with organisational standards.
  • Support operational priorities and strategic decision-making through data-driven insights.
  • Work within existing PPM tools and systems (eg, Microsoft Project Online, MS Office 365 suite).

The skills you'll need:

  • Strong proficiency in Power BI, Power Query, and PPM software.
  • Advanced skills in data visualisation, dashboard design, and analytics.
  • Experience using SQL, DAX, and Power Query for ETL processes.
  • High-level analytical and data management capabilities.
  • Background in PMO and data analytics, ideally within a large, global organisation.
  • Familiarity with MS Office 365 suite and collaboration tools.
