Power BI Consultant

Location: Brussels - Must be able to work 5 days per week on site

Security Clearance: Must hold a NATO SECRET Security Clearance

We have partnered with a prestigious consultancy firm seeking a highly skilled individual to support the implementation, service operations, development, and training of Microsoft Power BI solutions.

This role offers a dynamic and rewarding environment, working on both on-premises and cloud-based Power BI environments, aligned with established IT Service Management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, configure, and provide operational support for Microsoft Power BI solutions.
• Develop, document, and train users on Power BI Report Server and Power BI Service.
• Ensure alignment with IT Service Management processes.
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support, including incident, problem, change, and service request fulfilment.

Skills & Requirements

• Security Clearance: Must hold a NATO SECRET Security Clearance.
• Minimum of 5 years in consultancy roles on large implementation projects, with strong knowledge of Power BI and DWH architecture.
• Proven experience in installing, configuring, administering, and troubleshooting Power BI Report Server, along with experience in MS SQL Server (2014 and higher) and Oracle databases.
• Prior experience in Agile development methodologies.
• Skilled in developing complex SQL queries, ETL, data modelling, and design, including star/snowflake schemas.
• analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to handle complex data sets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage projects effectively.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
