Role: PostgreSQL Developer

Location: Sant Cugat, Barcelona (Onsite 2days/Week)

Duration: Contract

Job Description:

• 10+ years of experience in software development and at least 2 to 3+ years as a Databricks, PostgreSQL developer for a large/high volume project.
• Though the DB is Postgre,but any resource who spend good amount of his time with Oracle or other DB and have 2 to 3 years of experience with Postgre DB should also be fine.
• Should have worked on Analytical projects. Should be able to understand the underline data, the relevance of data, use of data for a given hypothesis.
• Should write queries, procedures etc. to achieve the hypothesis.
• Should be mindful of the performance and other aspects of the solution presented to the team.
• Any experience working on CRM related projects would be preferred.
• Strong database fundamentals and has experience dealing with database performance tuning, bottlenecks, and database ER modeling, databases (PostgreSQL)
• Knowledge of database design principles, query optimization, index management, integrity checks, statistics, and isolation levels.
• Experienced with PostgreSQL & PostgreSQL Architecture.
• Implement and maintain database code in the form of tables, stored procedures, scripts, queries, views, triggers, etc.
• Measure database performance and troubleshoot complex database issues, IO bottlenecks.
• Knowledge of JSON and PostgreSQL support for JSON
