Pertemps is recruiting Postal Delivery Driver - Gloucester, RM on behalf of Royal Mail. Based at a local delivery office in Gloucester, the successful candidate works 37 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, with weekend availability required. Shifts run 7:30am to 3pm, paying £13.69 per hour on a full-time temporary contract. Duties include sorting and loading mail, using a handheld device for navigation and signature capture, then delivering letters and parcels by foot or vehicle. Walking up to eight miles daily, the driver lifts mail bags to 16kg and parcels to 20kg. Customer service skills, reliability and outdoor stamina suit this independent role. • Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle - walking up to 8 miles per day
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg)
• Use delivery trolleys when required

• Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred) Need to have held your license for 6 months.
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential
• Excellent time management and customer service skills
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
