We're looking for a committed and detail driven Post Completion Specialist to support our high volume Post Completions department, working across our CLC regulated law firms - Premier Property Lawyers, DC Law, JS Law, and Advantage Property Lawyers.
About the RoleIn this role, you will manage the key period between completion and case closure, ensuring all regulatory undertakings are met, Land Registry applications are processed accurately, and clients receive a smooth, professional post completion experience. You'll work closely with conveyancers, lenders, clients, and third parties to ensure registrations are completed within priority periods and any requisitions are handled efficiently.
What You'll Be Doing- Managing post completion transactions through to successful Land Registry registration
- Handling electronic and manual registration submissions, including unregistered properties
- Responding to HMLR requisitions within deadlines to protect priority periods
- Managing post completion correspondence for sale and purchase cases
- Taking calls on completed matters and providing clear, accurate guidance
- Chasing outstanding information or documentation to progress registration and file closure
- Supporting conveyancing teams with post completion enquiries
- Understanding of the conveyancing process
- Ability to interpret and report on complex legal documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High level of accuracy in drafting and reviewing documentation
- A supportive team player who can mentor colleagues
- Willingness to assist team members with workload when needed
- Strong relationship building skills with internal teams and third parties
- Ability to work with Training & Development teams to identify training needs
- Self motivated with a positive outlook
- Reliable, resilient, and determined
- Empathetic communicator with professionalism and diplomacy
