Role Location

Friars Bridge Court, Blackfriars Road, London SE1 8NZ.

Hours of work: Monday - Friday 8AM-4PM, full time.

Role Responsibilities

• Take delivery of Medical Gas cylinders, move to allocated usage area and connect to pipelines.
• Disconnect empty cylinders and move to designated locked storage for collection.
• Receive and acknowledge deliveries of Pathology related goods and distribute to the relevant laboratories as required.
• Replenish stock in laboratory cold and ambient stores and working areas as necessary.
• Monitor stock levels of consumables and inform relevant managers if reordering is required.
• Escalate any issues encountered to the Soft Service Supervisor without delay.
• Work alongside cleaning team to ensure dirty laboratory coats are prepared for collection at agreed intervals and that clean coats are placed in the correct storage areas.
• Use the site CAFM System to raise, progress and complete work tasks.
• Ensure Health & Safety procedures are always followed, including manual handling, wearing the correct PPE, site specific uniform and suitable footwear.
• Complete statutory tasks and IT related training.
• Report Near Miss / Good catches in line with Integral good practice.
• Proactively work towards the continued success and support of the contract with a positive approach.
• Complete any other associated task requested by the management team, including taking an active role in team meetings and activities.
