Job summaryFollowing appropriate training, the post holder will assist in the delivery of podiatry services, including:
- Implementing individualised patient care plans as prescribed by a registered Podiatrist.
- Manufacturing, finishing and fitting orthoses as prescribed by a podiatrist.
- Communicating with the public, professional and non professional staff.
- Accessing a suitable vehicle for work purposes.
- Basic level of education in maths and English.
- Ability to undertake relevant foot care qualification where required.
- NVQ Level 3 in foot care, equivalent qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
- Willingness to participate in continued professional development.
- Previous work experience in a health or social care environment.
- Managing own time and determining priorities.
- Highly developed organisational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to unpredictable caseloads.
- Flexible approach to work.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Ability to work as an autonomous practitioner.
- Empathy for others.
