Main area Podiatry - Grade Band 3 - Contract Permanent: Full time. Hours (Monday Friday 08 45) - 30 hours per week. Site: St Catherine's Health Centre, Town Birkenhead. Salary: £25,760 - £27,476 per annum (pro rata). Job ref: B. Closing date: 27/05/:59.

Job summary

Following appropriate training, the post holder will assist in the delivery of podiatry services, including:

• Implementing individualised patient care plans as prescribed by a registered Podiatrist.
• Manufacturing, finishing and fitting orthoses as prescribed by a podiatrist.
• Communicating with the public, professional and non professional staff.
• Accessing a suitable vehicle for work purposes.

Qualifications and professional training

• Basic level of education in maths and English.
• Ability to undertake relevant foot care qualification where required.
• NVQ Level 3 in foot care, equivalent qualification or equivalent relevant experience.

Experience and knowledge

• Willingness to participate in continued professional development.
• Previous work experience in a health or social care environment.
