About the RoleThis is a full time, fixed term position providing maternity leave cover for 12 months.
We're looking for a detail orientated PMO Officer to join our Delivery Squad. This role is critical in ensuring robust planning, scheduling, and reporting across our portfolio of customer engagements. You'll work closely with the Practice Manager and the Consultants to develop and maintain integrated plans that drive on time, on budget delivery.
You will also own the Tooling, the Methodologies and the application of Governance across the Portfolio. Working to support the Practice in the delivery of our Services.
Key Responsibilities- Support Consultants & the Practice Manager on a daily basis.
- Improve Portfolio visibility, delivery confidence, financial control and forward planning.
- Help ensure our internal systems are built to suitable standards.
- Build and manage the Portfolio Reporting tools (Power BI).
- Build the tools that allow the Finances to be tracked, managed, monitored and reported on.
- Ensure the application of our Governance Standards.
- Support the Consultants & Practice Manager when Change Control is required.
- Manage and maintain the Resource Plans using MS Project and Project Online.
- Manage the weekly timesheet process.
- Manage the monthly invoicing and month end process.
- Proven experience in a PMO role, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of project delivery within a Consulting environment.
- Exceptional Excel, financial tracking, forecasting and reporting experience.
- Experience of using MS Project and SharePoint.
- Experience of using Project Online, Power BI and Power Apps.
- Ability to present to a customer, and experience in a revenue generating Project environment.
- Experience in tech, SaaS, or professional services industries.
- Knowledge of risk management and change control processes.
