About our role: What you'll be doing

You will play a critical role in supporting the Program Management Office (PMO) by ensuring effective governance, reporting, and analysis of projects and programs. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who excels in data analysis, reporting, and communication to ensure projects are delivered successfully and align with organisational goals.

  • Ensure programmes / projects adhere to PMO standards, methodologies, and frameworks
  • Support project managers with documentation, tools and processes
  • Monitor compliance with organisational project management practices & ensuring compliance with external standards where appropriate
  • Providing support to Portfolio & Project meetings
  • Compile reports and dashboards on project performance, risks, and issues
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and project milestones
  • Maintain a centralised log of risks, issues, and dependencies across projects
  • Support risk management processes and ensure timely escalation
  • Assist in resource allocation and forecasting to ensure project efficiency
  • Maintain version control of key documents and artifacts
  • Identify opportunities to improve PMO processes and tools
  • Deputising for the PMO Lead or Project Manager on occasion, as required
  • Support in training sessions and workshops to enhance project management maturity within the organisation
About you: What you'll bring
  • Demonstrable understanding of projects, project management principles, risk management and practices
  • Proven experience as a PMO Analyst or in a similar project support role
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, MS Teams, Miro, or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of project management frameworks (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2, or PMP)
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outputs within deadlines

Ideally you'll have

  • Experience of operating in a governance or regulatory environment would be advantageous as would experience of the retail energy market
