Salary: £90 - £110 per day

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting pupils with PMLD and complex needs.

The school is a welcoming specialist school in South Leeds that supports pupils across all Key Stages with PMLD and complex needs. It is committed to creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment where every pupil is encouraged to develop independence, confidence and essential life skills.

You will provide both 1:1 and classroom support, assisting pupils with their learning while delivering personal care and manual handling safely and with dignity as part of their daily routine.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with PMLD and complex needs
• Confidence providing personal care and manual handling support
• Experience working on a 1:1 basis and within a classroom environment
• A patient, caring and compassionate approach to supporting pupils with additional needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive, flexible and proactive attitude
