Plumbing Maintenance Person

Job Opportunity: Plumbing maintenance person.

We are recruiting on behalf of a well established client in the contract plumbing and heating industry, who is seeking somone to support on the plumbing miantenance in Bath University. This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected company, working on a range of projects with great earning potential and benefits.

Salary: £35,000 (bonus pay/shifts available), £30 P/H overtime.

Location: Various sites (domestic and commercial) across Bath

Shift Patterns:

Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 16:30pm

Key Benefits:

• Enhanced DBS cost covered (if required)
• Shift allowance: 1.5x pay for Saturdays and 2x pay for Sundays
• Additional leave: One extra day of leave per month on top of 28 days annual leave

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or proven experience as a Plumbing & Heating Engineer
• Gas and pump experience is highly desirable
• Renewable energy experience is a plus
• Valid enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
• Full UK driving license

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage, sinks, toilets, showers, and heating/cooling systems
• Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption for clients
• Conduct pipe installations, troubleshoot plumbing problems, and perform regular maintenance of pumps, boilers, and appliances
• Respond to emergency plumbing calls, providing prompt and professional service

Experience:

• Plumbing : 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (required)

• CSCS (required)
