Job Opportunity: Plumber

Morgan Hunt is currently seeking a Plumber for a brand new theatre building located in East London.

Pay Rate

• £20ph to £24ph Ltd - Weekdays
• £30ph to £36ph Ltd - Saturdays

Hours

40 hours per week, on a shift rota: 7am to 3pm and 12pm to 8pm, Monday to Saturday (2 out of 4 Saturdays).

6 months temporary contract with potential for permanent employment, starting salary £39,175 per annum.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine work activities.
• Execute new installations, repairs, and routine planned maintenance on mechanical and heating systems, water plant, equipment, and services.
• Handle reactive and PPM tasks in a large building with systems such as AHUs, chillers, A/C systems, central battery EML, boosted water, and H&C water systems.
• Respond efficiently to reactive work requests, minor new installation requests, and weekly planned preventative maintenance.
• Escort contractors during inspections and installations.
• Adhere strictly to policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations; maintain tool lists and ensure security compliance.

Qualifications

Minimum NVQ Level 2 or 3 in plumbing, refrigeration, or mechanical services.

• Computer literacy.
• Participation in the department's out-of-hours on-call system may be required.
