Player Status Administrator (Agents) - Fixed-Term Contract

Be part of the team at the heart of English football. The FA is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate football specialist to join us as a Player Status Administrator. In this pivotal role, you'll support the registration and regulation of Football Agents, review club submissions involving player registrations, and help ensure full compliance with FA Regulations. You'll also play a key role in managing declarations of payments made by clubs in relation to player registrations, keeping the game running smoothly and transparently.

This role is a 9 month fixed term maternity leave contract, concluding at the end of January 2027.

What you will be doing
  • Act as the key point of contact for other national associations, FIFA, clubs and agents on all football agent regulatory matters.
  • Support the team in responding to all queries relating to Football Agents, including from agents, players and clubs.
  • Review payment declarations entered by clubs for international transfer payments and agent fees.
  • Support the Player Status team with updates to the Agents Portal.
  • Assist the Player Status Team with the collection and review of data for the publication of agent transactions and fees.
  • Identify and investigate potential breaches of FA and/or FIFA Regulations relating to Football Agent activities.
  • Assist with other tasks as directed by the Head of Player Status and Competitions or Senior Player Status Manager.
  • Process applications from clubs for sanctioning of international matches.
  • Respond to applications for FIFA Match Agents.
  • Support the Player Status team at times when the role requires work outside of the usual business hours.
  • Execute additional tasks as required to meet the FA's changing priorities.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety, and well being.
  • Complete the required DBS check in accordance with legislation and government guidance.

    Currently, we are working within a hybrid working model whereby the expectation is to work from your contractual location for part of the week and, as and when required, from the team. The remaining days can be worked remotely. We will continue to monitor this model, and it may be adjusted in future if deemed necessary.
