Platform Operations Engineer - Linux, SCM Tools, Ansible, CI/CD, Python/Golang/Powershell, Groovy

Location: Hybrid (2 days in London)

We are seeking a Platform Operations Engineer to join our leading financial services client on a permanent basis. The role involves supporting development, architecture, and application security teams in implementing and maintaining Application Cyber Security strategies, with a focus on governance and security process rigor.

Skills and Experience Required:

1. Experience with Linux and Windows platforms, including upgrades, management, and maintenance
2. Support for SCM tools such as GitLab, including build, release, and version control
3. Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Ansible, Bamboo
4. Programming skills in Python, Groovy, Golang, Powershell
5. Familiarity with SDLC tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Nexus, Zephyr
6. Monitoring and logging expertise with Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog
7. Nice to have: Security capabilities including SCA, SAST, DAST
