Job Description

Senior Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer

Amsterdam (Hybrid - 2 days/week)

️ GCP Pulumi TypeScript DevOps at early-stage

We're working with a founding team building the AI-native operating system for CFOs, and they're looking for someone to help lay the technical foundations of the platform.

This isn't a backend feature role, it's about infrastructure ownership from day one. You'll be the person who makes sure the system scales, stays secure, and supports real-time AI-driven workflows across finance, accounting, and FP&A.

If you get a kick out of clean infra, automating everything, and building the kind of DevOps culture others copy later, this is for you.

What you'll be working on

Own and evolve cloud infrastructure in Google Cloud Platform, with a focus on networking, IAM, VPC design, and cost efficiency
Build and manage infra as code using Pulumi (in TypeScript)
Support and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows (GitHub Actions)
Collaborate with engineering to build secure, observable systems that support AI agents and structured workflows
Partner with product and security teams on SOC2 compliance, secure defaults, and auditability (we use Vanta)
Establish and scale DevOps practices, tooling, and system design across the team

About you

You've built and maintained production infrastructure on GCP ideally including VPCs, IAM, KMS, and related services
You know your way around infra-as-code (Pulumi, Terraform, or CDK)
You're comfortable writing or reviewing backend code in TypeScript (this isn't a pure ops role)
You've worked in environments with security and compliance requirements (SOC2, ISO27001, etc.)
You enjoy early-stage pace and taking real ownership of how systems run in the wild
