These machines and operators support our Demolition, Drilling, Ground Stabilisation, Earthworks, Remediation, Plant and Civil Engineering contracting services. The Sirius Group also provides Geotechnical, Environmental, Planning and Renewable Energy services to its growing client base.

Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for aPlant field service/workshop engineer based from our Plant Yard in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. They will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a wide range of mobile plant machinery. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting and diagnosing machine faults, performing routine maintenance and servicing, and ensuring equipment is safe and operational. The role requires adherence to safety standards and regulations, as well as effective communication with the team to report any issues or concerns.
The Sirius Plant Team is a dedicated group of individuals, each a skilled expert in their field. We are looking for aPlant field service/workshop engineer self-motivated to work on their own with the character to be part of a team.
Skills/Qualifications- Mechanical skills in the maintenance and repair of mobile plant machinery
- Experience with diagnostics and fault-finding on plant equipment
- Understanding of safety standards and regulations for plant machinery
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or related field
- Experience in the construction industry is a plus
- Valid driving license
