Job Description

Planning Officer sought for an initial 3 month contract to cover additional workload for a North London local authority.

You will be responsible for the processing of planning applications and:

The provision of general planning advice
The processing of planning appeals
Development of planning policy and associated documents
Investigation of breaches and recommendations in respect of planning control
Continuing professional development in Town Planning
Mentoring/guidance of more junior team members.

The postholder will operate within a team dealing with Development Management.

It's initially a 5 month contract and our client offers hybrid working.

This role is inside IR35 and the rate offered will depend on your experience, but is expected to be between £25-£30/hr Umbrella.
