The successful candidate will deliver high quality, timely and solution focused legal advice within their designated area of practice, taking personal responsibility for the conduct of legal matters from instruction through to resolution.

They will demonstrate sound judgement, an ability to identify and mitigate risk, and a commitment to supporting partner in achieving their strategic and operational objectives. They will work collaboratively with senior officers, Members, colleagues, external solicitors and counsel, ensuring that all advice is accurate, robust and aligned with the Legal Shared Service's professional standards. They will also contribute proactively to service improvement, legal research and the development of best practice across the team.
