Planning Solicitor

Employer: Panoramic Associates, partnered with North Hertfordshire District Council

Location: Predominantly Remote (hybrid basis with occasional office attendance for planning committees twice a month)

Working Arrangement: Full time

Salary: £42,000 - £57,000 per annum, dependent on experience. Local government experience may qualify for an additional car allowance of up to £3,000.

We are looking for a Planning Solicitor to join our established legal team. The successful candidate will conduct S106 planning agreement work, advise on highways matters, and provide comprehensive planning law support.

Responsibilities

• Handle a caseload of planning law matters, including drafting S106 agreements.
• Provide legal advice on a wide range of planning matters.
• Advise on highways matters.
• Manage planning enforcement matters, such as issuing planning enforcement notices.
• Attend planning committees on behalf of the local authority.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years post qualification experience as a Planning Solicitor.
• Previous experience working within a local authority.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of planning law.
• Preferably experience advising on highways law.
