Paraplanning Administrator - IFA

Location: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full-time

Working Pattern: Office-based

About the Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Paraplanning Administrator to join a professional Financial Services team in High Wycombe.

You will provide administrative and technical support to Independent Financial Advisers and Paraplanners, helping to ensure client work is prepared accurately, efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements.

This role would suit an experienced IFA Administrator or Paraplanning Administrator looking to develop their career within Financial Planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Paraplanner with day-to-day paraplanning administration
  • Gather and maintain accurate client information and documentation
  • Assist with pension information gathering and research
  • Prepare standard client reports and documentation for Paraplanner review
  • Assist with annual review packs
  • Prepare, process and monitor new business submissions
  • Liaise with clients, Advisers, Paraplanners and providers to progress cases
  • Follow cases through to completion and provide regular updates
  • Maintain accurate new business records and client files
  • Respond to routine client, Adviser and provider queries
  • Assist with valuations and monthly reporting
  • Use Microsoft Office and relevant Financial Services systems and provider platforms
  • Ensure records are maintained in line with data protection and internal procedures

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous IFA Administration and/or Paraplanning experience - essential
  • Experience within a Financial Services environment
  • Good knowledge of Financial Planning processes and terminology
  • Strong Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Good IT skills and confidence using Financial Services systems
  • A proactive, professional and team-focused approach

Experience using Intelligent Office (IO), FE Analytics or similar systems would be advantageous.
