Candidates are required to have:

• RTPI and/or RICS (P&D) accredited qualification;
  Recently qualified or will be due to qualify soon (MRTPI);
  1-3 years planning experience;
  Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  Excellent report writing ability;
  Keen interest in planning and development;
  An ability to negotiate effectively;
  Excellent experience of communication and client interfacing skills;
  Excellent presentation skills;
  Strong attention to detail;
  High service delivery skills;
  Excellent communicator, both written and verbal;
  Self-motivated;
  Committed and organised;
  Excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages.

What does the role involve?

• Preparing advice to clients;
  Working with team members on developing planning strategies, preparing programmes and reviewing information;
  Drafting or reviewing reports, co-ordinating the preparation and submission of planning applications/ appeals/ representations;
  Identifying new business opportunities, assisting in firm-wide business development and preparing fee proposals;
  Developing individual client base and part generating own workload;
  Providing planning advice to clients and attending meetings;
  Responsible for maintaining continuing professional development;
  Any additional duties as reasonably requested.
