As a Physiotherapy Outpatient Lead, you will:
- Report to the on-site line manager on the quality of physiotherapy provision on site, including the identification of themes and trends in the data and KPIs and supporting non-compliant individuals where required
- Act as a subject matter expert in on-site complaints and incidents relating to physiotherapy
- Manage a clinical caseload and undertakes assessments and treatment of patients across service lines offered at that site (inpatients, outpatients, MSK)
- Support the on-site line manager to ensure that the physiotherapy governance framework is adhered to
- Provides clinical support to on-site physiotherapists where appropriate
- Ensures the on-site physiotherapy team is managing their face-to-face caseload effectively, ensuring cases are discharged appropriately on systems
- Identifies learning needs locally in the department from peer reviews and notes audits to target local learning appropriately by organising local CPD programmes and engaging with the team to deliver these as per Nuffield Health's CPD guidelines
- Appropriately identifies patients who require onward referral to advanced-level physiotherapists, consultants, or other healthcare consultants, including the use of internal escalation pathways for patients presenting with serious pathology
- Undertakes treatment underpinned by extensive clinical knowledge and skills to deliver high-quality patient outcomes
- Maintains relevant clinical skills and provides on-going evidence of personal CPD and Professional registration.
