Prospero Teaching is working alongside a supportive high school that is looking for a Physics Teacher for Term 1, January 2026.

The school is based in and offers an enjoyable working environment with a strong and supportive leadership and teaching team in place.

This is a full-time role, permanent role.

The school is happy to consider teachers of all experience levels.

Responsibilities

• Physics Teacher
• Teaching across Grades 8-12
• Term 1, January 2026 start contract
• Permanent, Full-time position
• Interviews will take place as soon as possible

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's of Education, or Post-Graduate Diploma in Education
• Be eligible to work and teach in New Zealand
• Received or in the process of applying for a NZQA (New Zealand Qualification Authority)
• Received or in the process of registering for EC14 (Education Council)
• Be willing to process a new Certified Criminal Record Check
• Be able to offer two professional teaching references covering the last two years
