Physician Assistant

MDC PCN aims to work strategically with all itspractices, to help secure the best services for patients whilst workingtogether, to support the member practices in the challenges of a changingNHS. The network aims to improve themorale of general practice in Bromley, by sharing expertise, services andsupporting its workforce. The networkwill make a positive impact on medical services in Bromley, by working closelywith the ICB, local NHS trusts, local providers and patient groups, to improvethe delivery of healthcare to the local population.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Physician Assistant to join our primary care network. This is a newly created role to work as part of our digital E-hub service. This is a part-time position, working 20 hours per week across 5 days, Monday to Friday, with a mix of remote work and some on-site presence at our practice locations.

This appointment is offered on a fixed-term contract basis for 6 months, with the possibility of extension to a permanent role subject to performance and service requirements.

We would like this role to start as soon as reasonably possible. Salary expectations will be discussed during interview.

Person Specification Experience

• Qualified with appropriate certification and registration
• Experience of working autonomously or as part of a team
• Strong knowledge of general practice clinical guidelines and protocols
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality, data protection, and professional standards
• Experience of working in a primary care setting or primary care network
• Proficiency in using clinical IT systems such as EMIS, DOCMAN, or similar healthcare systems.
