We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Physical Security/Facilities Advisor to join a high-profile programme supporting a diverse portfolio of sites across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to influence security strategy, conduct meaningful risk assessments, and work alongside a wide range of stakeholders to deliver effective and proportionate security solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

• Conducting physical security assessments, threat reviews, and vulnerability evaluations across multiple sites.
• Providing expert advice and recommendations to improve security posture and mitigate risks.
• Developing and maintaining security plans, procedures, and risk registers.
• Supporting the implementation of security measures aligned with organisational requirements and industry best practice.
• Monitoring incidents, identifying trends, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborating with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure security standards are maintained.
• Contributing to security awareness programmes and promoting a strong security culture.
• Supporting new projects and site developments by embedding security considerations from the outset.

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

• Proven experience conducting physical security or protective security assessments.
• Strong understanding of risk management and security mitigation strategies.
• Experience working within a multi-site or client-facing environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and manage multiple activities.
• Strong reporting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Comfortable using IT systems and management information to support decision-making.

Desirable

• Experience managing relationships with contractors and suppliers.
• Security-related qualifications or membership of a recognised professional body.
• Demonstrable commitment to continuous professional development.
