A warm, informal, and professional family are seeking an experienced and reliable Housekeeper to support their household in the beautiful area of Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire. The family comprises a husband and wife, two self-sufficient teenagers, and three beloved Chihuahuas. They travel frequently and require a trustworthy and flexible professional who can maintain the smooth running of the household during their absence.

The property is a spacious three-storey home, set in one of the most desirable areas of the Home Counties. This is a wonderful opportunity for a dedicated Housekeeper who values long-term commitment, appreciates an informal yet respectful working environment, and is comfortable with pet care responsibilities.

This position requires someone who is proactive, organised, and passionate about maintaining a home to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will be experienced in general housekeeping duties, comfortable caring for small dogs, and flexible enough to stay overnight when the family is travelling. The family places great importance on discretion, reliability, and creating a safe, happy environment.

Type: Full Time, Live Out, Permanent

Working Days: Monday to Friday; 5 days/week

Working Hours: 40 hours per week (9 am - 5 pm)

Employment Basis: Employed (Employment Contract)

Location: Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire

Starting Date: 13th April (or sooner if available)

Flexibility: Must be flexible to stay overnight when required during family travel

• General housekeeping duties across a three storey property
• Cleaning the kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms to a high standard
• Hoovering carpets and mopping wooden floors throughout the property
• Laundry duties for clothing (bedding excluded - sent out externally)
• Taking out rubbish for collection days
• Collecting mail from the mailbox
• Receiving and managing package deliveries
• Walking three small Chihuahuas daily (approximately 20-30 minutes)
• Maintaining a clean and hygienic space for the dogs, including their feeding area, beds, blankets, and accessories
• Using a dedicated dishwasher for dog related items
• Staying overnight when required during family travel to care for the dogs and maintain the household
• Ensuring the children feel supported when parents are travelling
• Maintaining the smooth running of the household during extended family absences (up to several weeks at a time)

• Three or more years of private Housekeeper experience
• Two excellent, checkable references
• Conversational English, Spanish, or Tagalog
• Valid UK work permit
• Enhanced DBS check
• Pet friendly and comfortable caring for small dogs
• Flexible and willing to stay overnight when required
