Job Description
The University of Bath invites applications for a fully funded four-year Hiroko Sherwin PhD studentship in astrophysics. You will generate cosmological hydrodynamical simulations of dwarf galaxies using GPU-accelerated and hybrid-parallel architectures to study gas flows and metal enrichment in a cosmological context. Supervision by Dr.
Martin Rey and Prof. Stijn Wuyts, with training in high-performance computing, and a generous research budget. Start date: 4 October 2027.
