Job Description
At our group at Instituto de Micro y NanoTecnología (IMN-CSIC) in Tres Cantos (Madrid) we are developing new semiconductor quantum materials to be integrated on RF-driven devices to control the emission of single photons sources at the optical telecom O-band and C-band. An important innovative step is the use of novel electro-optical and opto-electro-
mechanical hybrid devices for single photon emission modulation and tuning, both with high efficiency and compatibility with cryogenic environments and superconducting technologies. To this end, we propose a cross-disciplinary research plan combining applied research, material and technology development.
In this context, we are looking for:
The ideal candidate should be an independent, resourceful and goal oriented professional. He or She should have a strong motivation to join a technically demanding and rapidly evolving research and development environment.
Job Description
Your responsabilities will be the development of DC and RF electrical testbeds for semiconductor device parameter extraction and their simulation with TCAD and circuit modelling tools.
Required technical skills:
- Be able to schedule, monitor and accomplish milestone oriented tasks.
- Report periodically to the board of directors creating and delivering compelling presentations about your activities.
Required qualifications
-PhD/MSci/MEng degree in any relevant field.
-Proven previous work experience in parametric testing and simulation of semiconductor devices.
-Ability to work independently and to actively learn new skills.
Specific requirements
- Legally authorized to work in Spain or in other EU country.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 26,000.00€ - 32,000.00€ gross per year depending on experience
Work Location: In person
