Pharmacy Technician - Neilstown

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in our Hickeys Neilstown Pharmacy. This is a 24 hour specific purpose contract position with the store operating between 9a.m. to 6p.m. Monday to Saturday and closed on Sunday. The team currently comprises a Supervising Pharmacist, a Retail Store Manager, 3 Technicians, and 1 Sales Assistant. This store has manageable items and services.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• Prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Control stock levels and order medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Prepare blister packs and process and track claims.
• Report to and support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Requirements

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is an advantage, but newly qualified technicians are welcome to apply.
• Experience with McLernons MPS is an advantage.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage.
