Meraj is seeking anexperienced Pharmacist to join one of its busy community pharmacies in Leyton, England. This is a full time, permanent role offering competitive pay, professional development opportunities, and UK Skilled Worker visa sponsorship (Tier 2) for eligible candidates.

Role Overview

You will manage and oversee pharmacy operations, lead a team of assistants and technicians, and deliver both NHS and private services to the community. The role requires strong leadership, business acumen, and a commitment to providing high quality healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise pharmacy assistants, technicians, and dispensers
  • Manage and review care plans, ensuring compliance with NHS Pharmacy First services
  • Provide enhanced services (NMS accreditation required; additional accreditations beneficial)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local GP surgeries
  • Promote both NHS and private services to the wider community
  • Demonstrate operational and business acumen to grow the pharmacy's services
  • Encourage team learning and professional development
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a pharmacist
  • NMS accreditation
  • Ability to provide NHS Pharmacy First services
