Personnel Advisor Job Description The regional placement offices (ORP) of the canton of Vaud at the General Employment and Labor Market Directorate (DGEM) assist clients in their job search and support employers in recruiting staff. They play a key role in implementing employment policy and combating unemployment. As a personnel advisor, you work in the framework of supporting the professional integration of job seekers. In this perspective, you follow and advise each client from the Public Employment Service, with the aim of rapid and sustainable placement in the labor market. You select appropriate placement options and have specific measures enabling the development of each individual's employability. You are also responsible for ensuring compliance with legal requirements for individuals within your portfolio. Through the quality of your proposals, you are a key player for companies seeking personnel. Responsibilities Activate and advise each client through advisory and follow-up interviews; Conduct professional assessments and development of professional and personal skills of individuals in your portfolio by granting further training measures; Actively support the proposal of vacant positions to clients of the public employment service; Ensure, in accordance with federal and cantonal unemployment insurance laws, compliance with placement readiness and suitability of users; Permanently update the database (Plasta) and manage current tasks for each client; Strengthen cooperation with various inter-institutional partners (Social Services, Disability Insurance Office, etc.); Establish a personalized reintegration plan for each client tailored to their needs and goals.
