Posted 1 day 3 hours ago by CRA Consulting
We are working in partnership with a well-established legal services provider to recruit a Personal Injury Litigation Executive within their Serious Injury team. This role focuses on managing a caseload of claimant RTA-related serious injury claims, typically valued up to £50,000.
This is a client-focused litigation role, combining technical case handling with a high level of personal contact and responsibility for guiding clients through complex and often life-changing circumstances.
The roleYou will manage a portfolio of serious injury claims, acting as the key point of contact for clients throughout the lifecycle of their case. Many of the individuals you support will have experienced traumatic injuries, so clear communication, empathy, and consistency are essential.
You will regularly liaise with clients, including face-to-face meetings where required, ensuring they are kept informed and supported at every stage. Cases will often involve coordination with a range of external experts, such as medical professionals, care providers, case managers, counsel, architects, and forensic accountants.
Your responsibilities will include assessing liability, causation, and quantum; reviewing and analysing medical and expert evidence; and conducting legal research to support case strategy. You will also prepare key legal documents including witness statements, pleadings, and schedules of loss.
In addition, you will work to secure interim payments and ensure appropriate rehabilitation is in place, while actively progressing cases towards optimal settlement or litigation outcomes where appropriate.
About youYou will ideally be a qualified Solicitor or CILEX Fellow, although candidates with significant relevant experience may also be considered where billing expectations can be met.
You should have experience handling personal injury claims, ideally including serious or complex injury matters, and be confident managing your own caseload in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential, along with the ability to manage sensitive client situations professionally and with care. You should be highly organised, detail-focused, and comfortable working with case management systems alongside Microsoft Office tools.
Resilience, adaptability, and a proactive approach to workload management will also be key to success in this role.
What you'll bringThe ideal candidate will combine technical legal ability with a strong client-first mindset. You will be commercially aware, confident making decisions on case progression, and motivated by achieving the best possible outcomes for clients.
You should also be comfortable working within a performance-driven environment while maintaining high standards of service and accuracy.
