Job Description

Job Title: Personal Assistant

Location: Bournemouth

Contract Type: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract

Salary: £38,000 plus fantastic benefits


Role Overview

We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to provide professional, discreet, and reliable support to the Regional Director. This role is critical in enabling the Director to operate effectively across a wide range of responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a complex and ever-changing diary, prioritising meetings based on urgency and importance, and scheduling both internal and client-facing appointments.
  • Take detailed meeting minutes, assist with creating internal presentations, and compile input from senior team members and other stakeholders.
  • Deliver comprehensive administrative support, including maintaining databases, producing reports, and drafting client communications.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodation bookings as required.
  • Monitor and manage email correspondence with initiative and professionalism.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients, ensuring a high level of service and regular communication.
  • Prepare materials and briefings for meetings with both internal teams and external clients.
  • Circulate key information across the regional team in a timely and effective manner.
  • Collaborate closely with local office heads, executive assistants across the region, and the business management team.
  • Support the wider administrative team in Bournemouth, providing cover during absences when needed.


Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience in a PA, assistant, or secretarial role.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
  • Confident in building relationships at all levels and comfortable engaging with clients by phone and email.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to set and meet personal objectives.
  • Trustworthy, discreet, and confident handling sensitive or confidential information.
  • A solid understanding of the Director's business area and a willingness to develop broader knowledge of the organisation over time.
