Support Worker (Personal Assistant) - 22.5 Hour Day Shift Contract at Beacon House

About the role

Beacon House is a 24 hour care home for eight adults with learning disabilities. As a Personal Assistant you will support individuals in achieving their goals and outcomes, ensuring their safety, wellbeing and aspirations are met.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, mobility and handling.
• Provide positive behavioural support.
• Support the development of social networks and connections.
• Promote choice, independence and a positive quality of life.
• Collaborate with a team of assistants to meet each individual's needs.

Qualifications & Experience

No prior experience in care required. We recruit based on values and transferable skills. You should be committed, dedicated and eager to support people with learning disabilities.
