Doctor Job Description

• Specialty: Specialty Doctor Psychiatry CAMHS
• Location: South West England
• This is an excellent opportunity for a Specialty Doctor to work in a forward-thinking CAMHS team in South West England. Based in Barnstaple, you'll work across multiple pathways including mood, crisis, and eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide psychiatric input under Consultant supervision in CAMHS settings.
• Assess and manage a range of mental health conditions in young people.
• Work across various sub-specialist pathways, with room to grow and specialise.
• Access SPA time, CPD, and career development support.
• Ensure full compliance and clearance to work (we can assist with this).
• Complete DBS/Police Check.
• Qualifications: MBBS or equivalent.
• GMC registration.
• MRCPsych or an equivalent approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
