Doctor Job Description

1. Specialty: Anaesthetic Consultant (Substantive)
2. Location: Midlands
3. Role Overview: We are offering a substantive Consultant Anaesthetist position to join a high-performing anaesthetic team working across two hospital sites. This role offers a broad clinical practice, covering elective and emergency surgery, maternity, and intensive care services.
4. Work Schedule: You will join a flexible and well-structured rota, with cross-site working supporting the maintenance of a full range of anaesthetic skills. Subspecialty interest areas can be accommodated within job planning, and there is scope to lead on service improvement projects.
5. Candidate Profile: We are looking for a team player committed to delivering safe, effective care and contributing to the department's strong culture of education, development, and clinical excellence.
6. Requirements: Fully compliant and cleared to work (we can assist with this), DBS/Police Check, MB ChB, MBBS or equivalent, MRCP, FRCA or equivalent, full and specialist registration with the GMC or eligibility within six months of interview.
