Role Overview
We are looking for a highly analytical and driven Performance Marketing Associate to join our growing team at Fuse Energy. This role is perfect for someone with a STEM background who loves numbers, finds patterns in data, and is excited to work on performance-focused marketing campaigns that have a measurable impact on growth. You'll own and scale performance marketing channels like paid search, paid social, and display-working closely with our product, design, and data teams to acquire and retain customers more efficiently every day.
Responsibilities
- Plan, launch, and optimise paid campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, and other digital channels
- Analyse campaign data daily to understand performance, test hypotheses, and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to improve tracking, attribution, and user segmentation
- Develop rigorous testing frameworks to evaluate new creative, messaging, landing pages, and channels
- Present key performance insights and growth opportunities to marketing and leadership teams
- Continuously benchmark against competitors and market trends to identify emerging tactics and tools
- Assist in the development of marketing automation tools and internal dashboards to streamline reporting and performance analysis.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in performance marketing, ideally in a high-growth environment
- Strong academic background in a STEM discipline (e.g., Engineering, Physics, Math, Computer Science, Economics)
- Highly analytical with the ability to interpret complex datasets and make data-backed decisions
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, dashboards, and basic data tools (SQL or Python is a plus)
- A curious mindset with a passion for testing, optimisation, and constant learning
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with design, product, and engineering
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a startup or direct-to-consumer environment
- Familiarity with marketing APIs, automation, or building internal tools to improve campaign management
- Interest in the energy or utilities space
- Prior experience building custom attribution models or working closely with data science teams
