Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work with talented athletes competing in BUCS Scotland 1 & 2, Scottish Hockey Regional League 1 & 2, as well as BUCS and District Cups. Applicants should have experience in playing or coaching hockey at a high level and possess strong player management skills.

Applicants should be dedicated and capable of promoting and maintaining high standards within the squad. Coaching applicants must have obtained a Scottish Hockey Level 2 Coaching Qualification (or equivalent) and have a genuine interest in the personal development of athletes within a performance environment.

This part-time role involves leading two training sessions per week (planned by the Head of Performance Hockey, Neil Allan), assisted by an Assistant Coach. The coach will also serve as the match day lead for most 2XI matches in Scottish Hockey (Saturdays; Regional League 1) and BUCS (Wednesdays; Scotland 1), where available.
