We are seeking a Performance and Risk Analyst with Factset experience, ideally assisting with data implementation into Factset.

Requirements: At least two years of investment experience. The role is initially a 3-month contract for an asset manager in the City of London.

Preferred candidates will have an analyst background in Investment Risk, Performance Attribution, Asset Allocation, Finance, QIR, NAV, from an Investment Bank or Investment Firm.

Strong IT and analytical skills are essential, including experience managing databases, Excel, and VBA.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Portfolio and asset performance reporting.
2. Quarterly operational data updates with commentaries.
3. Analysis of portfolio leverage, yield profile, and other metrics.
4. Preparation of half-yearly Deal Expenses reports.
5. Maintaining a database of fund managers and key metrics, including return benchmarking.
6. Asset management and reporting.
7. Logging quarterly performance data from fund managers.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Performance measurement, attribution from first principles, spreadsheet creation.
• Exposure to futures and options.
• Knowledge of risk measures and calculation from raw data.
• Handling large data sets and database interrogation.

Additional Experience:

• Experience with a broad range of clients: charities, pension funds, retail, and private clients.
• Marketing awareness and RFP experience would be advantageous.
