Information about the role

Counter Terrorism Policing North West (CTPNW) is a five-force collaboration delivering Counter Terrorism (CT) services to our regional forces as well as forming part of the national CT Network. CTPNW's mission is to work together to keep people safe from terrorism.

We are looking for a committed and outstanding individual who can support CTPNW in achieving its mission.

Performance analysis is the collection, processing and interpretation of data to assess how well objectives are being met and to inform decision making by providing a sound evidence base, rather than intuition. It provides a framework for leaders to objectively assess how their department / unit is performing against predefined objectives.

Responsibilities
  • To manage the return of National Performance figures to CTPHQ, aiding with Performance Delivery across the network.
  • Create Monthly Performance reports where the findings are presented to CTPNW Senior Leadership Team.
  • Assessing the threat and impact that CT policing has had through the process of a Disruptions panel.
  • Formulating Statistical Process Charts, to monitor variation in Performance allowing for the identification of patterns and trends within CTPNW.
  • Identify and promote opportunities for change and continuous improvements.
  • Influence staff at all levels to engage with the Performance Framework.
  • Assisting SLT on an ad-hoc basis with bespoke analytical products.
  • Maintaining relationships at all levels, including Command, Capability Leads and External Partners.
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert for Performance and attend regular meetings at CTPHQ.
  • Chair, co-chair and participate in meetings at all levels across all capabilities.
  • Effectively organise the Performance workload in line with meeting deadlines and managing conflicting priorities.
