Tranent Hybrid Working £25 - £28 per hour

Iconic Resourcing is delighted to be partnering with a growing, people-focused organisation to recruit a People Partner on an initial 3-month fixed-term contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys being close to the business, supporting managers, solving people challenges, and driving positive change. You'll join a collaborative and down-to-earth People team during an exciting period of growth, with the opportunity to make an immediate impact.

The Role

Reporting into the Head of People, you'll act as a trusted partner to leaders and managers across the business, providing hands-on support across a broad range of people matters.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing employee relations casework including absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance matters
  • Coaching and developing managers to build confidence and capability
  • Supporting organisational growth and workforce planning activities
  • Reviewing and developing HR policies and processes
  • Using people data and insights to identify trends and improvements
  • Supporting people initiatives, organisational change and continuous improvement projects

This is a predominantly operational role with the opportunity to contribute to wider people projects and business improvements.

About You

We're looking for someone who has developed through a generalist HR career path and enjoys partnering with managers in a fast-paced environment.

You'll bring:

  • Experience in a Senior HR Advisor, HR Business Partner or similar role
  • Strong employee relations knowledge and case management experience
  • Confidence coaching and influencing managers at all levels
  • Excellent knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
  • Experience driving process improvements and implementing people initiatives
  • A pragmatic, approachable and solutions-focused style

If you're a hands-on HR professional who enjoys building strong relationships, developing managers and delivering practical HR solutions, we'd love to hear from you.
