Kainos is growing and our People Team is continually evolving to deliver our global business needs. We are looking for a People Partner to be responsible for our Americas region.

Reporting to the Lead People Partner, this role will serve as a strategic partner to business leaders, aligning people initiatives with business goals and ensuring consistency in our global people practices.

The ideal candidate will bring strong regional HR expertise, an understanding of global business environments and the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.

You will be a trusted advisor with an ability to critique and simplify business complexity with strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities:

  • Trusted Advisor- be a primary point of contact for management and senior leaders, acting as a challenge function but also providing expert advice, coaching and support on all people related issues.
  • Continuous improvement- work with business leaders and people managers to ensure the consistent implementation and delivery of best practice initiatives, policy, and processes collaborating with specialist functions such as Organisational Development, Learning, Recruitment, Reward and Talent Acquisition.
  • Talent management -support the business to develop and fully leverage Kainos' Talent Management strategy in line with evolving global business needs, and in conjunction with the global People Team, support the development of specific interventions where required.
  • Expert guidance- provide expert guidance and support in the jurisdiction and source and/or work with international external HR or specialist suppliers as appropriate.
  • Project Management- lead and/or participate in global projects and act as a liaison between the region/business area and central teams.
  • Data & Analytics- monitor HR metrics and provide actionable insights to Leadership teams.

Minimum (essential) requirements:

  • Experience working as a People Partner in a fast-paced, professional services environment.
  • Human Resources qualification / membership.
  • Proven experience supporting cross-functional teams and leadership in a matrix-ed, international organisation.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
  • Results orientated with proven ability to lead and navigate change when required.
  • Strong commercial/business acumen skills.
  • Proven experience in managing complex employee issues
  • Experience of working with HRIS systems (e.g. Workday, SAP) and proficiency in MS Office.

Desirable:

  • Experience of working within the technology sector or high business growth sectors.
  • Knowledge and/or experience of employment legislation in one or more of the following regions: USA, Canada or EMEA.
